A brief outline of the School's history
Our school was founded in 1959 as an agriculture
vocational chool for the Region of Slavonska Posavina,
and it was and remained the only school of such kind
wich has been giving agricultural secondary-school
education in that region.

|
1966/67.
|
the school turned into School for the Agricultural Technicians,
having two stages: preparatory and final;
|
|
1969/70.
|
first Center for Extraordinary Studies of Advanced Agricultural
School, Vinkovci was opened;
|
|
1973.
|
the school was transformed to the Agriculture and Food
Educational Center;
|
|
1974.
|
the Centre spreaded its activities to the education of florists;
|
|
1978/79.
|
in adition to agriculture and food a chemical technology
specialization was introduced;
|
|
1979/80.
|
veterinary specialization was introduced;
|
|
1990/91.
|
the Agriculture and Food Educational Centre was transformed to
the Vocational School "Matija Antun Reljkovic" with three
independent pedagogical units:
1. School for Agricultural Technicians,
2. Veterinary School and
3. Chemistry School.

|
1994.
|
One class of forestry technicians was enrolled.
