Na svakih 600 hektara stare šume dolazi jedno gnijezdo crne rode, iako su ponekad pojedina gnijezda vrlo blizu jedno drugom. Pretpostavlja se na ovom podrucju gnijezdi oko 30 pari crnih roda.
